Thank You from the PGA TOUR Barbasol Championship

The 2022 installment of the PGA TOUR Barbasol Championship concluded on a beautiful Sunday afternoon with Trey Mullinax making birdie on a 15-foot putt from the edge of the 18th green to beat Kevin Streelman by a stroke. It was a picture-perfect ending to a great tournament.

The Barbasol Championship and Keene Trace Golf Club thank you for your continued and unwavering support of the Barbasol Championship, which is one of only 47 FedExCup events in the world. Thanks to our amazing fans, volunteers, sponsors, media partners, and staff, we were once again able to present a world-class experience featuring some of the very best players from around the globe.

This year, the Barbasol Championship was part of the inaugural PGA TOUR and DP World TOUR alliance which saw 50 players join our field. Additionally, the tournament’s purse was increased to nearly $4 million, and for the first time ever, thanks to a strategic change of dates, the winner of the Barbasol Championship is now in Scotland playing in the 150thOpen being held at St. Andrews.

Over the coming months, more information will be released on the Barbasol Championship dates for 2023, the Fall Charity Classic, and total donations raised for Caddie127, the philanthropic arm of the Barbasol Championship which benefits six amazing Kentucky charities.

Thank you again for helping the Barbasol Championship be recognized as one of the premier sporting events in Kentucky.
