Barbasol Championship Tickets go on sale May 9

NICHOLASVILLE, KY (May 4, 2022) – The PGA TOUR Barbasol Championship announced today that tickets to the 2022 Tournament will go on sale Monday, May 9 at 9:00am. Tickets can be purchased at

The Barbasol Championship, played at Champions at Keene Trace in Nicholasville, Kentucky is the Commonwealth’s only PGA Tour event. The 2022 tournament will take place July 7-10 and is one of only 47 FedExCup events to be played during the 2021-22 season. Previously, the Barbasol Championship played alternate the British Open. This year, the Barbasol will be played the week prior and offer, in addition to nearly $4 million in purse money and 300 FedEx points, a coveted entry to the 150th Open Championship at St. Andrews.

About the Barbasol Championship:

The Barbasol Championship is a PGA TOUR event played that will be played July 7 – 10 at Champions at Keene Trace Golf Club in Nicholasville, Kentucky, a suburb of Lexington. Champions is an Arthur Hills designed golf course conveniently located one hour from Cincinnati and Louisville. The Barbasol Championship purse is $3.7 Million and provides its winner with 300 FedEx Cup Points and a two-year PGA TOUR exemption. For the first time in the Barbasol Championship’s history, the 2022 winner will be eligible to compete in The British Open Championships. The 2021 winner of the Barbasol Championship was Seamus Power of Ireland.
